This course familiarizes trainees in the first to second year of training with both water-based paint systems and airbrushing. They get to know different color series and know how to classify them and their respective areas of application.
After a basic education on airbrushing, in particular differences in function and operation, simple exercises go straight to handling. Together, a uniform application of paint, color gradients and a quick and clean change of color are practiced.
In the further course, simple stenciling techniques are presented and used by the participants themselves. This exercise is about an understanding of the partial / multi-layer masking of substrates, as well as the resulting differences in layer thickness.
The trainees consolidate the use of the airbrush in further exercises, in which the lecturer provides helpful tips and tricks.
After this course, the trainees got to know the spectrum of a water-based paint system and are familiar with the operation of an airbrush.
